Former Nation TV news anchor Larry Madowo joins BBC Africa as a business editor.

After quitting his previous job at Nation Media Group (NMG),BBC Africa appointed Larry as a business editor who will lead the Business unit,starting today the 11th of April 2018.
BBC is looking to expand its broadcast base in Africa and already, they have set up a studio along Riverside Drive, Nairobi.
Regional Editor for BBC News Africa Solomon Mugera said Larry is a fantastic addition to their new team.
“…and will be key in leading our new focus on business news and how it affects the lives of ordinary Africans. Our new language services and content will ensure we reach new audiences with our bold, innovative and relevant news,” he said.
Larry Madowo is one vibrant Kenyan journalist and has done a lot since he joined the media fraternity at KTN back in 2008.He has hosted his own radio shows, done weekly newspaper columns and hosted popular TV programmes.
Larry is also a pioneering digital journalist on the continent with an impressive following of over three million online.
