Rwandan Afro pop artist Patrick Nyamitari – Celeb Stories

Rwandan Singer/Song writer Patrick Nyamitari was born in Butare south of Rwanda and raised in Kigali the Capital City. His musical journey began back in 2007 as a gospel artiste with his first song “Urimana” meaning “You are God” and some of his popular hits ‘Messia’, ‘Uri Imana’ and ‘Iwacu’(At Home)

He has so far released one album titled ‘Niwe Messiya’ (He is the Messiah) which has earned him a mark in the country receiving massive airplay from local TV and radio stations. Patrick has worked with a wide range popular artists including Mani Martin.

Later in 2013 he was featured in the famous musical competition in Kenya “Tusker Project Fame” Season 6 where he managed to reach the semifinals.

In the same year Patrick turned into an Afro pop contemporary musician because he wanted to reach a wider fan base and address social issues. He then went ahead to release songs like Kalema, Ntaherezo, Wallah & Ndaje

Patrick Nyamitari is currently signed to More Media working on more yet to released singles and videos from his upcoming album “Blind Auditions”
